USE OF AMINOALCOHOL DERIVATIVE CONTAINING UREA FUNCTIONAL GROUP IN PREPARATION OF COSMETIC AND/OR COMPOSITION FOR SKIN, OR TO MIX INTO THE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic and/or a composition for skin by using an aminoalcohol derivative containing a urea functional group. SOLUTION: This aminoalcohol derivative containing at least one urea functional group expressed by the formula (R1 is an 8-22C alkyl; R2 is H or a 1-6C alkyl; R3 is a 1-10C alkyl) is used to prepare a cosmetic and/or a composition for skin. As the compound of the formula, N-dodecylaminocarbonyl-N-methyl-D- gulcamine is exemplified. The compound of the formula in an amount of 0.001-15wt.% is contained in whole of the composition and the composition is prepared to a shape of a single phase or multiphase gel, an emulsion, an endoplasmic reticulum dispersion, foam or spray of a cream or an ionic or a nonionic lipid composed of a single phase or a multiphase aqueous or a water/ alcoholic solution. The compound of the formula is especially useful as a moisture retentive agent in a skin care product or a conditioning agent in a hair product.
