PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate cleaning capability accurately in a short time by measuring the PH of cleaning solvent before and after the cleaning operation, and evaluating the cleaning capability of the cleaning solvent with the difference of the PHs as an index value. SOLUTION: A circuit 10 is communicated to an inlet port 4 of a flow path 3 by the switching operations of three-way valves 5 and 8. A circuit 11 is communicated to an outlet port 7 of the flow path 3. This state is provided. A pump 17 is operated, and cleaning solvent 13 in a tank 12 is introduced into the flow path 3 of a heating disinfection device 1 from the circuit 10. Cleaning is started. The cleaning solvent 13 in the tank 12 is circulated during the specified time in the flow path 3, and contamination attached to the inner wall of the flow path 3 is removed. A PH sensor 15 mounted on the tank 12 is used, and the PHs of the cleaning solvent 13 before and after the cleaning operation are measured. Then, the difference between the PH of the cleaning solvent 13 measured before the start of the cleaning operation and the PH of the cleaning solvent 13 measured after the end of the cleaning operation is made to be the index valueΔPH. The cleaning capability of the cleaning solvent 13 is evaluated based on the differenceΔM/p of alkali ratio, which is obtained in accordance with the correlation of the index valueΔPH and the differenceΔM/p of the alkali ratio.
