PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone system with various services executed inside a communication network under the current environment by providing a circuit for generating control packets or information packets and interacting with the communication network by a packet form. SOLUTION: A data interface 3 converts digital signals from an encoding/ decoding part 2 and control signals from a control part 5 to packets, outputs them through a channel interface 4 to a port 200 and inversely converts the packets inputted from the port 200 through the channel interface 4 to the control signals and the digital signals for the control part 5 and the encoding/decoding part 2. The encoding/decoding part 2 is connected with an analog module 1 provided with a telephone circuit. Thus, already utilizable short packets are used for a voice call and the various services executed inside the communication network under the current environment are supplied to the telephone system.
