SINGLE FREQUENCY NETWORK SYNCHRONIZING SYSTEM, ITS RECORDING DEVICE AND ITS TRANSMITTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable synchronizing the transmission times of respective transmission points to be required in forming SFN(single frequency network) by an OFDM(orthogonal frequency-division multiplxing) system. SOLUTION: In a transmitting device 8 established in a playing place, information of the transmission times of the respective transmission points and information of a reference time are made into a packet form and, after that, are packet- multiplexed (time division multiplexing) in a data packet string to be transmitted. In OFDM transmitting devices 11 established in the respective transmission points, a packet including transmission time information is identified from the packet string which is transmitted from the playing place so as to obtain transmission time information, reference time information is obtained from radio wave which is transmitted from the OFDM transmitting device 10 established in another transmission point in the same way, a delay time to be inserted is found from transmission time information and reference time information and the delay is given to the data packet string to be transmitted so as to execute transmission.
