<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester fiber material which is rich in washing fastness and has deodorant effect, flame retardancy and stain-proofing properties by padding a polyester fiber material in a treating solution containing a specific copolymer, an inorganic compound and a synthetic resin binder and heat-treating the padded product. SOLUTION: After being desized, scoured, and set with dry heat, a polyester woven fabric is treated with a treatment solution containing hexabromocyclododecane at 110-150 deg.C, preferably 120-140 deg.C for 10-60 minutes, then washed reductively, washed with water and dried. The treated fabric is padded with a treatment solution containing a block copolymer comprising polyethylene glycol, terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, a porous substance of silicon dioxide or zinc oxide or an inorganic compound of copper or zinc, a polyvinylamine of the formula (R is CHO or CH3 CO) and a urethane resin binder, squeezed, treated with dry heat at 110-190 deg.C or the above-stated processes are carried out in one bathing operation and one-step treatment.</p> |
