<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unpleasant sound from being emitted from a golf club in swinging by providing a region whose inside diameter is gradually enlarged toward the tip side, in the tip of a shaft in the golf club shaft made of a hollow, middle-slender, fiber reinforced resin. SOLUTION: A golf club shaft 20 is provided with a region (an inside diameter inversely enlarged region) 22 whose inside diameter is gradually enlarged toward the tip side in the tip part of the shaft 20 to be inserted in a shaft fixing hole 8 which is formed in a hosel 6 of the club head 4 in a golf club shaft made of hollow, middle-slender, fiber reinforced resin. In this case, the internal circumferential face of the inside diameter inversely enlarged region 22 is set to a smooth inversely tapered shape and is preferable to hold the thickness necessary for holding the strength of the shaft tip part. It is effective that the internal circumferential face of the inside diameter inversely enlarged region 22 is set to a smooth inversely tapered shape so that a lump 10 of torn- off adhesive and a cork plug for sealing a balance weight are prevented from moving.</p> |
