PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the horizontal amplitude modulation circuit in which horizontal pin cushion distortion is corrected in an excellent way in the case that diversified horizontal deflection frequencies are provided by means of a simple circuit. SOLUTION: A chopper type voltage controlled circuit 8 applies a DC voltage Ebo for oepration to a horizontal deflection output circuit 1. A square wave generator 9 generates a square wave Vrc to set a duty cycle of the voltage controlled circuit 8 depending on the horizontal deflection frequency. A pulse width modulation circuit 10 applies pulse width modulation to the square wave Vrc with a parabolic waveform of a vertical deflection period from a parabolic wave generator 4. |
