PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately display moving images even in the case that the moving images of different recording forms coexist and are recorded by providing a means for reading image data along with position data on a recording medium and the means for controlling the reproduction display period of the moving images. SOLUTION: The moving images read in a DVR 24 and the accompanying information are supplied through a detection part 15 to an image control part 16 along with a time code at the time of image reproduction. At the time of the supply, a frame buffer part 28 tentatively stores the respective image data of the moving images from the detection part 15 and the time code for respective frames and inputs image accompanying information from a retrieval processing part 27. Then, the image data judged as reaching the portion of one sheet of images are outputted to an image processing part 13. Thus, the image processing part 13 restores the image data to one sheet of frame images and successively supplies them through a D/A converter 14 to a monitor 23. Thus, the image data for one sheet of the images are successively moving-image- displayed on the monitor as the frame images. |
