PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device capable of determining the count of moneys stored in an auxiliary cash box and increasing the capacity of stored moneys. SOLUTION: Plural safes 50 to 52 to/from which moneys can be stored/taken out and an auxiliary cash box 65 for storing replenishing moneys to the cash boxes 50 to 52 are included in a money receiving/paying unit. An inspection device 66 for inspecting coins to be carried is arranged on a return carrier R20 for carrying a money extracted from the outlet of the cash box 65 up to the inlet of the cash box 65. In the 1st mode, a coin extracted from the outlet of the cash box 65 and inspected as a coin suitable for payment by the device 66 is carried and stored in any one of the safes 50 to 52, and in the 2nd mode, a money extracted from the outlet of the cash box 65 and inspected as a money suitable for payment by the device 66 is returned and stored in the cash box 65 through the return carrier R20. |
