摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic plate precursor having a support body having high dimensional stability and excellent resistance to chemicals by providing a material having a glass support body having a thickness of a specified value or less, a breaking stress of a specified value or more, and a Young's elasticity of a specified value or less. SOLUTION: This material comprises a glass support body and a surface dividable into ink receiving area and ink repelling area according to an image pattern on the glass support body. The glass support body has a thickness of 0.5mm or less, a breaking stress of at least 10<7> Pa, and a Young's elasticity of 10<11> Pa or less. This material further comprises a first layer containing a polymer on which an image can be formed by laser etching, and a second layer under the first layer on the glass support body. At least one of the first layer and the second layer is characterized by effective absorption of infrared ray, and the first and second layers show different affinities to a printing solution selected from the group consisting of ink and an adhesive solution for ink.
