PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to evenly reform the entire part of roller surfaces by arranging a UV irradiation in the upper protective of a conveyor and irradiating rubber material with UV rays in an ozone atmosphere while rotating rollers, thereby reforming the surfaces of the rubber materials. SOLUTION: Roller constituting bodies 5 are constituted by connecting both end faces of the rollers adjacent to each other by a pair of chain platea having the recessed parts on the center of the upper parts. The conveyor 1 is constituted by arranging a pair of the roller constituting bodies 5 in a traveling direction so as to have a spacing therebetween. The UV irradiator 2 is arranged in the upper part of the conveyor 1 and is so constituted that the conveyor 1 for transporting works passes the ozone atmosphere. Both ends of the rollers having the rubber materials on the surface exclusive of both ends are placed across the recessed parts of the chain plates at both ends and while these rollers are rotated, the rubber materials are irradiated with the UV rays. In such a case, the rollers are transported at a specified speed and further, the rollers rotate at the prescribed speed, the entire part of the roller surface is evenly reformed. |
