PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a blurring processing and to express more real depth perception by performing a processing by a digital low-pass filter provided with a cut off-frequency corresponding to distance information. SOLUTION: The image data is processed by the digital low-pass filter provided with the cut-off frequency corresponding to the distance information. For instance, a digital low-pass filter of an order n=2m is a filter for performing a data processing by m-stage cascade as shown in Figure. A digital filter, that is a transfer function, is a function of the distance information, that is of a (z) value. Thus, by relating the (z) value and a coefficient (k), blurring corresponding to distance is expressed. In such a manner, by operating a highst frequency included in image data, the effect of being out of focus is expressed. Then, by approximating the vision characteristics of a human by the digital filter of frequency characteristics corresponding to the distance information for the operation, quantitative optional distance setting is enabled. |
