PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a sheet free from a transfer pattern by preventing the adhesion of a polymer to the surface of a roll in a crater shape by applying a coating agent based on a higher fatty acid or an ester thereof to the surface of a casting roll. SOLUTION: A coating agent based on a higher fatty acid and/or an ester thereof is applied to the surface of a casting roll before a molten polymer is extruded. As the fatty acid, for example, lauric acid, myristic acid or palmitic acid is used. As the higher fatty acid ester, the so-called ester with a higher alcohol having 10 or more carbon atoms is used. The higher fatty acid ester is used as a mixture of higher fatty acid esters usually called wax. As a concrete example of wax, carnauba wax, candelilla wax or rice bran wax can be designated. |
