<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device having improved operational reliability and capable of realizing stable and uniform expansion and development of a main bag without increasing the rigidity of an inner bag or the main bag. SOLUTION: In a double bag type assistant seat air bag device having an inner bag 22 folded and stored in a main bag 21 for blowing out gas through the inner bag 22 to the main bag 21, since the gas flow opening part of the inner bag 22 is shielded by a shielding member (diffuser) 5 with a bottom hole having a gas introducing hole 5a for introducing gas to the inner bag 22, the gas is dually drawn by the gas introducing hole 5a of the shielding member 5 with a bottom hole and the gas blowing-out port 22qa of the inner bag 22, the increase of a gas flow speed to give impacts to the main bag 21, which occurs when the gas is drawn only by gas blowing-out port 22a of the inner bag 22, is prevented and, further, the high-speed flowing-in of a large amount of gas from a gas generating means (inflator) 3 to the inner bag 22 is suppressed and the damaging of the inner bag 22 is also prevented.</p> |
