PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the level of input image signal corresponding to a printer when CMYK image signal produced by an external device is entered into the printer of a color copying machine. SOLUTION: An arithmetic part 301 for color number sums all color component levels for each picture element of CMYK image signal entered from an external device 106. An arithmetic part 302 for adjustment amount compares the total of color component levels and maximum value of input levels for a printer 105. According to the result of comparison, adjustment processing part 303 outputs image signal with level less than level of input image signal into the printer 105. |
