PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep speed of exhaust smoke within a main body of a range hood at a value not so high as to be incapable of being discharged out of it, and as a result, to prevent exhaust smoke from escaping outside of a main body of a range hood, assure a simple structure and installation operation as well in a less-expensive manner. SOLUTION: This range hood A comprises a main body range 1 of a range hood, a wind speed decelerating member 2, a filter 3 and an exhaust cylinder 4, wherein the main body 1 of the range hood comprises a cylindrical cover 18 having an opening 11 at its lower end and a discharging port 19 at the other end, and a blower 16. The wind speed decelerating member 2 is fixed to the opening 11 of the main body 1 of the range hood, the filter 3 is fixed near a suction port of the blower 16, and the exhaust cylinder 4 is fixed to a discharging port 19 of the main body 1 of the range hood. As the blower 16 is operated, discharging smoke is discharged out of the exhaust cylinder 4 through the wind speed decelerating member 2 and the filter 3 fixed to the opening 11 of the main body 1 of the range hood. |
