METHOD FOR HOLDING OPENING PROPERTY OF INTRADUCTAL CATHETER AND COLOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold the opening property of the colom for a time enough to feed a radiation source to the colom by expanding an expandable region so as to be brought in contact with the colom and inserting a radiation source wire into a blind lumen so as to perfuse the blood, while providing the radiation source to the coeloma. SOLUTION: An expandable region 12' is expanded and an artery is held in an opened state, while holding the opening property of the artery and the blood flow passing the expanded region. A radiation source wire 51 is inserted into an adjacent end of a blind lumen 50 and a radiation source 51 which is positioned in a distant end of the radiation source 51 is advanced so as to be positioned in a part of the coronary artery which is intended to receive the dosage. The expandable region 12' is held in such a state as being expanded for a time enough to irradiate the dosage for breaking the cell with restricture. The design of the expandable region 12' holds the opening property of the artery in a treatment and holds the flow of the blood flow passing the region 12' in the both sides so as to allow the long-time treatment.
