PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating compsn. which is useful for preparing an auxiliary layer of pixels, hardly releases volatile org. compds. in the step of drying, and is excellent in soln. stability by incorporating an aq. dispersion contg. specific film-forming polymer particles and non-film-forming polymer particles into the same. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains an aq. dispersion prepd. by dispersing film-forming acid-stable polyurethane particles [e.g. Bayhydrol DLN (a polyurethane dispersion), a product of Bayer AG] and non-film-forming polymer particles [e.g. polymethyl methacrylate-co-methacrylic acid (97/3) latex], pref. together with a cross-linker (e.g. hexamethylenetetramine), in an aq. medium. Pref. the amt. of the film-forming polyurethane particles accounts for 20-70wt.% of the sum of both kinds of particles. |
