PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily display the characters again in the same display mode as the previous one by displaying again the displayed characters which are obtained in a character acquisition process by referring to a history and based on the character attribute information that is acqujred together with characters. SOLUTION: The input characters are stored in a history storage 28 together with the typeface information, etc., in the form of a history. When a reinput instruction is given from a user, the character codes and the information on the typeface selected by the user are given again to the user in thue same way by refersing to the history. Thus, the user can input again the characters without repeating such complicated operations as selection of typefaces, etc. As a result, the user can select the characters after the selection of a typeface and the display of characters and accordingly can select the characters after looking at his desired characters to be inputted even when the designs differ in each typeface. Furthermore, the characters or the previous typeface can be inputted again even after the typeface is changed. |
