PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the recording density by densely forming tracks so as to generate intersymbol interference between adjacent tracks and simultaneously forming pits or marks to cancel the intersymbol interference. SOLUTION: In a mastering device 3, a master disk 4 is rotated with a constant angular velocity and the disk 4 is successively exposed in accordance with modulating signals S1 and tracks by pit strings are formed in a spiral shape. While forming the tip strings in accordance with the signals S1, the pits, which are adjacent to each other in the radial direction of the disk 4, are closely formed in the device 3. Thus, in an optical disk device 1, recording tracks are densely formed to generate intersymbol interference between the adjacent tracks. |
