PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct saturation by simple processing extremely reduced at its calculation quantity by executing processing in RGB color space. SOLUTION: Luminance Y is found out by multiplying respective inputted RGB data Rin, Gin, Bin by a prescribed coefficient and summing up the multiplied values (step s1). One of the data Rin, Gin, Bin is set up as a reference, differences from the other data are respectively found out (step s2), respective differences are multiplied by a correction coefficient α to correct saturation (step s3), and corrected RGB data Rout, Gout, Bout are found out by using an expression for correcting saturation and an expression for finding out the corrected RGB data Rout, Gout, Bout led out from an expression for finding out the luminance (step s4). |
