PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an energy saving effect even when a furnace temperature is controlled to a comparatively low temperature or a temperature increase speed is moderated and to provide an effect to agitate a furnace. SOLUTION: n(n>=2) heat accumulation regeneration type burners having an equal combustion period X are arranged in the same zone of a furnace and simultaneously, i(i>=1) burners are caused to effect intermittent combustion, in order, at intervals of a time of iX/n or less in a differential time of iX/n, and exhaust operation is effected right before combustion of each burner. This method agitates a furnace, controls a furnace temperature to a comparatively low temperature or moderates a temperature increase speed through regulation of a combustion time without lowering an energy saving effect. |
