PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a finger against a substantial injury such as a bone fracture and finger amputation, even when a finger or the like is caught by a hinged door in a closing operation, by forming the prescribed gap between the end of the hinged door and a door frame, and providing an elastically deformable packing in the gap. SOLUTION: A gap L1 at least equal to or above 10mm is formed between securing plates 2b and 2b for a door rotatably jointed to a door frame 3 with a hinge 2, and a gap L3 is also formed between jambs 3a. Also, an elastically deformable packing 14 is provided in the gap L3 , so as to maintain airtightness. A packing and a gap similar to the packing and the gap at the side of the hinge 2 are provided at the end of the door 1 (opposite side of hinge). A child's finger or the like, even if caught between the securing plates 2b and 2b at the time of closing the door 1, is thereby kept free from stroing pressure to ensure freedom from a serious injury such as a bone fracture and finger amputation. According to this construction, safety is improved and even when the door frame 3 is deformed due to an earthquake or the like, the door 1 can be easily opened.
|
