The case (3) has a central support (2) formed as a rigid cylinder that fits closely inside the central hole in the CDs. An elastic arm (4) extends radially from the central support, passing under the compact disc, and extends beyond the outer edge of the disc. The arm ends in a flat tab (4b) and has a lip (4d) which slightly overlaps the outer edge (3a) of the disc. When finger pressure (F1) is applied to the tab, the edge of the disc is released and the centre raised, via a tongue (9) connected to the inner end of the arm so it lifts the CD as the end of the arm is depressed.
