The invention concerns a low energy sensitive x-gamma dosimeter for measuring a dosimetric magnitude, comprising X and gamma radiation sensors having different responses relative to the dose absorbed at low energy, one (6) overestimating the absorbed dose with respect to human tissues, the other (8) underestimating this dose, and electronic processing means (4) which combine the signals supplied by these sensors, this combination being determined so as to restore in the best possible way the dosimetric magnitude in a wide energy range. The invention is applicable to radiological protection.
