The concrete barrier is constituted by a reinforced concrete structure. On one surface the structure has the profile of a safety barrier and on the other side a base plate for receiving ballast weight. The barrier is made from prefabricated elements comprising a vertical groove (3) and a projection, the two fitting into each other. A hole (5) allows passage of an axis connecting two elements allowing their articulation. A cover covers the elements in order to erase the visual effect generated by relative displacement of the elements.
