In a tyre antiskid stud; of a type forming a sleeve (1) with an anchoring food (4) in the tyre and opposite that a food (3) from which protrudes a core or bar (2) of high hardness material fitted in a blind bore (5) of complimentary form; the sleeve (1) consists of an outer envelope (7) of synthetic material around a metal insert (6), with the blind bore (5), and the surface of the insert at the food (3) is flush with the envelope (7). Also claimed is the production sequence of; positioning the insert (6) in a mould; centre and hold the insert; fit the bar (2) in the bore (5); mould the envelope.
