The powerplant (17) for wheeled vehicles (10) has a permanent-magnet rotor (18, 19) of an electric motor associated with at least one wheel (12). The stator (21-23) of the motor has electromagnets (21) the number whereof is a multiple of the phases of the electric motor (18, 19, 21-23). The electromagnets (21) are supported by the frame (11), and devices are provided for the alternative power supply to the electromagnets (21). |
