METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PIEZOELECTRIC ACTUATOR FOR AN INK JET HEAD AND SUPPORTING FRAME FOR SAID ACTUATOR

A piezolectric base material (10) having a dimension for allowing at least a plurality of piezoelectric members (3) to be arranged in alignment thereon at predetermined intervals and a base board sheet material (20) formed of the same material as that of a base board (2) and having a dimension for allowing a plurality of the piezoelectric base materials (10) to be mounted in alignment thereon are provided. Next, the piezoelectric base materials (10) are bonded in alignment to the upper surface of the base board sheet material (20) to thereby form a piezoelectric actuator block (30) for allowing a multiplicity of piezoelectric actuators (1) to be mounted thereon. The all processing steps requiring processing jigs are collectively completed in this piezoelectric actuator block (30) state, thereby making it possible not only to achieve improved productivity and yield and stable quality but also to eliminate the necessity of processing jigs for exclusive use therefor so as to reduce the production costs.
