The element has a deck panel (2) formed below the roof surface, and battens (12) located at a distance above this for holding roof tiles (14). Ridges (4) are constructed on the top side of the panels on the direction of slope for supporting the battens. Dowel pins (16) are inserted into the side of the ridges facing away from the panels. The pins are inserted alternatively to the left and right of a central reinforcement (18), to which are connected reinforcing rods (20) extending into the deck panel.
