A releasable protective layer (26) is provided on the base (20) and is surrounded by a releasable edge skirting (28) which has two webs (30,32) located at right angles to each other in cross section. One of the webs (30) lies on the top surface of the protective layer while the other (32) lies on the side of a frame (12) supporting the base. The protective layer consist of a hard or semi-hard plastics. The frame forms a peripheral projecting web (18) which encloses the base and the protective layer, while the second web lies on its outer surface.
