The airbag cover has an ideal break line (2) determined by a perforation line (1) which passes through the airbag lining (4) up to approximately the surface which is visible to the occupant. The weak line has evenly spaced webs which support the foil layer of the lining. The visible surface of the airbag lining has a three dimensional structure and the path of the perforation line is similar to the surface structure.
