An implement for automatically milking animals is provided with a milking robot including a robot arm (14; 26) which is adapted to carry teat cups (21). In the position of rest of the teat cups (21) on the robot arm (14; 26), at least the open upper sides of the teat cups (21) are guarded by a robot arm portion (19, 20). The teat cups (21) are movably disposed in this portion, each in an own housing (35), and can be adjusted from the inoperative position into an operative position and be connected therefrom to the teats of an animal to be milked. 00000 |
