PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new derivative consisting of a specificβ-alanine derivative, having an antagonistic activity against a glycoprotein IIb/IIIa, a platelet coagulation suppressing activity and a suppressing activity of a fibrinogen-platelet binding, and useful for the prevention, treatment, etc., of thrombotic diseases and immunological diseases. SOLUTION: This is a newβ-alanine derivative (salt) expressed by formula I [R<1> is a (substituted) cycloalkyl containing N; R<2> is a (protected) carboxyl; A<1> is a (substituted) lower alkylene, a lower alkanyl-ylidene, a lower alkenylene; A<2> is a lower alkylene; A<3> is a (substituted) lower alkylene; formula II is a (substituted) heterocyclic group containing N; X is O, S or NH; Y is NH; Z is a group of formula III (R<3> is H or a lower alkyl), etc.; (l), (m), (n) are each 0, 1] and having an antagonistic activity against a glycoprotein IIb/IIIa, a platelet coagulation suppressing activity and a suppressing activity of a fibrinogen- platelet binding, and useful for the prevention, treatment, etc., of thrombotic diseases and immunological disease. The compound is obtained by a method of reacting a carboxylic acid compound expressed by formula IV with a compound containing amino group and expressed by formula V, etc.
