A filtration device for tank water for acquarium fish and for performing forced circulation of water through a filter medium in a water tank, in which acquarium fish are kept, which comprises a housing (3) composed of a casing body (1) and a cover body (2), partitions (5a to 5e) for dividing the interior of the housing (3) into filtering chambers (4a to 4f), and filter medium storage boxes (6a to 6f) which can be mounted to and dismounted from the filtering chambers (4a to 4f) respectively to separately store a plurality of kinds of filter media. The device is so constructed as to pass water through the filter media in a zigzag manner, whereby the device is made small-sized and mounting and dismounting of the filter media is facilitated.
