<p>An arrangement for powering a signature pad (13) from a lap-top computer (12) is described. An added cord (14) is provided, extending from the power pins of the auxiliary input device PS/2 port (28) of the computer to the normal power RS232 plug (24) provided for the signature pad. A DC to DC converter (31) is included in the power cord to match the voltage obtained from the auxiliary input device port with that required by the signature pad.</p> |
