The pump comprises teeth which are formed on the inside of an annulus and on a pinion meshing with it. The two rotate in a common housing with suction and pressure unions, and radial ports are provided in the annulus for the passage of the medium handled. The crowns of the annulus teeth contain dovetail-section grooves (34) accommodating seals (30) sliding in the radial direction and working against the crowns of the pinion teeth. One or more lengthwise grooves (52-54) are machined in the mating faces of the dovetail-section grooves and-or seals.
