Adjustable spanner consisting of two symmetrical, elongate parts 1, each of which has heads 3-3' of different sizes at its ends, via which heads the two parts are connected by means of screws 7-7', with threads in different directions and intermediate heads 8-8', which can be screwed into drill holes 4-4' in the aforesaid heads. The heads 3-3' have guide means for their adjustment and sliding. The elongate parts 1 have stops 11 which will limit the aperture of the jaws defined by the heads 3-3'. <IMAGE>
