Kossel image production without reduced background radiation

The method involves producing Kossel images, or grating source interference images, without radiative stopping of the back background, or an increased contrast. The method involves using an electronic image processing system, so that the digitised Kossel images are freed from a radiative stopping background, and the diffraction reflection is increased. The contrast increase is so attained, that a second digitalised image is produced with the identical method parameters, from a very fine crystalline or amorphous sample, and both images are subtracted from each other, by use of a computer.
