摘要 The engine control system calculated an engine loading factor from the pressure in the inlet manifold, the engine speed and engine and inlet air temperature. A correction factor is calculated to take account of the effects of inlet temperature and engine temperature. An actual measured value, or a computed value, is used for the inlet air temperature near to the inlet valves. The control takes account of different engine conditions e.g. at low speeds the inlet air has time to reach the engine temperature, especially at low engine torque and therefore has little effect. At high engine speeds and high torque the temperature of the inlet air has a large effect on the engine performance.
