External combustion heat engine with rotating piston

The external combustion engine has at least two hollow cylinders (9,11) which can be filled with a gaseous working medium, a circular piston for displacement in each cylinder, at least one heat exchanger between each cylinder's inlets and outlets and at least two inlets and two outlets (1,1',2,2') on each cylinder which are connected so that the medium can flow through the cylinders in the same direction in succession whereby one piston (8) acts as a compressor and the other (10) as a working rotor. The cells of the hollow cylinders which communicate with the inlet and outlet must not be made so that the vol. difference between the two cells is practically null during rotation of the displacement piston, but so that the pressure in the heating heat exchanger is achieved using a non-return valve (12,12')in each circuit. All partial machines contribute to the working process.
