Polypeptides that bind CD4, including the HIV-1 coat proteins gp120 and gp41, reduce migration of CD4<+> cells such as monocytes and T cells in response to chemoattractants, including C-C chemokines, SDF-1 alpha , and fMLP. Such polypeptides are useful for treating inflammatory conditions and diseases. |
