The induction system (1) is for an internal combustion engine. It has a central air-collecting and inlet channel and a set of spiral-shaped channels (2) conveying air to the cylinders. The spiral channels may be made of inner (4), and outer (3), pieces which may be sealed together (7,10) where their walls (5) come into contact. There are thin partition walls (11) which separate adjacent spiral channels and have sealing lips (8) bearing against the outer piece.
