Lever type electrical connector

The electrical connector has a lever (60) and a housing body (10) with a main body (20) and a wiring cover (40), the lever fitted to the housing body to bring a coupling element (62) into contact with a coupling element (22) provided by the housing body. The lever has a pair of elastic arms (65) coupled together at one end, engaged by a guide element (43) provided by the housing body at the other end, for splaying the arms outwards, allowing the coupling element to be fitted over the coupling element provided by the housing body, with subsequent release of the lever.
