<p>This invention relates to a liver fibrosis inhibitor which contains chondroitinase ABC as an active ingredient and is suitable for treating or preventing a fibrotic liver disease such as liver cirrhosis. This invention also relates to a method of inhibiting liver fibrosis by administrating chondroitinase ABC to a test subject and a method of treating or preventing a fibrotic liver disease such as liver cirrhosis utilizing the same.</p>
