METHOD FOR PROVIDING PRESENCE INFORMATION AND APPARATUS THEREOF

A method, a watcher client, a presence server, a presence system and a presence entity client for providing the presence information are used to solve the problem that it is just able to provide the current presence information but is not able to provide the historical and the future presence information. The method of this invention includes the step of : sets the time parameter corresponding to the presence information; records the time information corresponding to the presence information in the time parameter; provides the presence information with the corresponding time information to the watcher client.
