A unitary valve apparatus (200) for use in controlling the filling and the release of fluids from a fluids storage vessel comprises an outlet valve means (212) for controlling release of fluid from said vessel, a filling valve means (254) carried by or on said outlet valve means for controlling filling of said vessel and float means (282) carried by or on one of said outlet valve means or said filling valve means for detecting the level of fluid in said vessel. Each said valve means has or is associated with a respective chamber containing a respective member having a first side and a second side, each of which sides is exposed, in use, to a pressurised fluid. Each said member is independently moveable to open the respective said valve means (212, 254) by the said pressurised fluid acting on the second said side thereof when the said pressurised fluid acting on the first said side thereof is released.
