<p>The subject of this invention is a transmission unit for a rotary piston engine, where the eccentric component of the piston is brought about by a long, fixed-shape torque rod by positioning the fulcrum point (P1, P2) of the rotational movement, and the extreme point of the torque rod leading from it, on either side of the centre point of the cylinder chamber (2) such that the extreme point of the piston's rotational structure is at a greater distance from the fulcrum point of the piston's rotational motion than from the centre of the cylinder chamber. The torque rods (4) in the transmission unit according to the invention are arranged to provide continuous power transfer between the shaft (3) and the piston (1) in conjunction with the movements of the piston (1), by attaching the transmission unit shaft (3) by a bearing to the fixing point (P) which is some distance away from the fulcrum points (P1, P2) of the piston (1) rotational movement, in the direction across the width of the cylinder chamber.</p> |
