The circuit includes a DC energy supply terminal for an external DC energy source, with the terminal (Vcc) supplying DC energy to elements (10) of the bipolar integrated semiconductor circuit (1). Also provided is a PNP transistor (1) which has its emitter coupled to the terminal, while its collector is connected to an element of the bipolar integrated circuit. The PNP transistor is switched on by a constant current circuit (3), which also controls the base current of the PNP transistor onto a constant level, affecting the operation of the PNP transistor in the saturation region.
