<p>An expansion compensation device for use when connected to pipe work carrying fluid comprises a housing (11) defining a cavity (12) and a resilient body (14) located in the cavity which is tuned to exert a predetermined pressure. In use the device is connected to the pipe work at a location so that the cavity is in communication with the fluid and full of fluid and the pressure exerted by the resilient body is tuned to match the pressure of the fluid at the location.</p> |
